Cranio in the Community's Outreach/

Cranio in the Community has partnered up with Kids on the Green to deliver craniosacral therapy to the West London community! Kids on the Green, is an organization set up in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, supporting families, children and young people using music, arts and performance, alongside a range of alternative and holistic therapies and activities.

Kids on the Green is organizing a "Stay and Play Day" where parents and children can come along and get therapeutic support. We will have a monthly (at minimum!)  space to offer voluntary craniosacral therapy, which is an opportunity for both practitioners and craniosacral students alike.  We are aiming to have an experienced practitioner (a CCST tutor) available on days that students are wanting to participate. Word is spreading and we had a good mix of adults and children, all really appreciative of their sessions.  We’re also aiming to support staff, partly so that they can give people some idea of this transformative therapy but largely because they give so much of themselves and are hugely deserving!

We have two dates a month leading up to summer holidays.   Generally the times are 10-6 but we’re going to trial an evening session for members of a youth club and get a feel for the intake on these evenings to reach a diverse audience with this work.

We are combining these events with other therapists so these we will be sharing our work alongside the work with homeopathy, massage, kinesiology and others.  We have a room and 2-3 couches for Craniosacral Therapy.

We are splitting into two shifts: 10:00-2:00 and 2:00-6:00.

At the moment we are exploring two or three therapists for each shift.  These are the dates, if you’d like to commit to anything then please email Carolyn at: We would love to committed therapists for these shifts but we are prepared to do a call out nearer the time if we need therapists. Anyone is most welcome to do the whole day, with breaks being factored in if this is the case (essential!)

It is essential that participating therapists and student trainees possess relevant insurance, proof of CST graduation/course attendance. DBS check is preferred although not essential at this stage as practice is supervised. .

The following dates will obviously depend on government guidelines during the COVID-19 Crisis.
