Cranio in the Community's Outreach/
Cranio in the Community continues our partnership with Kids on the Green to deliver craniosacral therapy to the West London community! Kids on the Green, is an organization set up in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, supporting young people using music, arts and performance, alongside a range of alternative and holistic therapies and activities.

We currently run a once a month clinic on the last Thursday of the month from 10am to 8pm. We’re also supporting staff, partly so that they can give people some idea of this transformative therapy but largely because they give so much of themselves and are hugely deserving!
We are combining these events with other therapists so these we will be sharing our work alongside the work with homeopathy, kinesiology and others. We have a room and 3+ couches for Craniosacral Therapy.
The clinic is well attended and we have a good combination of regulars and newcomers.
Volunteers work in shifts – 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm (the last shift covers teenagers attending the Youth Club). We have an average of 4 volunteers for each shift, some volunteers doing two consecutive shifts in the day.
It is essential that participating therapists and student trainees possess relevant insurance, proof of CST graduation/course attendance. DBS check for the youth sessions is preferred but this can be organised by the charity for anyone who is regularly attending. For students it is advisable you have started teaching clinics and be in the latter half of your course.
