Grenfell Tower Outreach

London (Latimer Road)  - CITC Outreach

Cranio in the Community has partnered up with Kids on the Green to deliver craniosacral therapy to the West London community! Kids on the Green, is a community project set up in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, supporting families, children and young people using music, arts and performance, alongside a range of alternative and holistic therapies and activities.

We currently run a once a month clinic on the last Thursday of the month from 10am to 8pm (divided into shifts).  We’re also supporting staff, partly so that they can give people some idea of this transformative therapy but largely because they give so much of themselves and are hugely deserving!  These sessions are really well attended and we may be adding extra dates in future months. We pay travel expenses from any donations that we receive.

It is essential that participating therapists and student trainees possess relevant insurance, proof of CST graduation/course attendance. DBS check is preferred although not essential at this stage as practice is supervised. Please see our page for dates and further details and email Carolyn at: Carolyn@CarolynStevens.co.uk to explore shift commitment.

Hospice of the North Coast

0.png

San Diego, CA, USA - Hospice of the North Coast

Hospice of the North Coast was established in 1980 to fill the need for comprehensive, compassionate hospice care in North County San Diego.  Our therapy volunteers enhance the care of our patients by offering a variety of special therapies.  Volunteers have always been the heart of hospice, and this holds true at Hospice of the North Coast. Many have personally experienced the support of hospice services, while some are drawn by the simple desire to help others.

Requirements:  We ask anyone interested in becoming a volunteer with HNC to wait for at least one year after experiencing a loss or are currently dealing with someone who is critically ill, before applying to provide direct patient support. We have found that it takes this long to live with one’s own grief before truly being able to help others. Further requirements explored upon application.
