Our Trauma-Informed Care Training is an immersive program crafted to empower you with the knowledge, skills, somatic exercises and insights needed to transform your Craniosacral Therapy practice. This course is also designed to help anchor practitioners into finding their own resources of safety to negate the potential impact of second hand trauma. This is a practical course where we will explore hands on techniques and approaches that are crucial for working with trauma survivors. By enrolling in this course, you will:

Lizette Villaverde RCST is a seasoned expert in the field of trauma-informed work who is thoroughly experienced to teach intricacies of this essential aspect of therapy. With a decade of experience as a dedicated social worker, she has worked intensively with diverse client groups, particularly those who have endured severe social and economic hardships. Her journey has included supporting teenagers in the care system, aiding refugees, asylum seekers, and victims of trafficking, and volunteer work for vulnerable adults. Her background also includes successfully managing outreach organizations that provide crucial mental health support to young adults who have struggled to access support in it's various forms.

In addition to her extensive social work background, Lizette co-founded the Craniosacral Collaborative, a platform that not only supports craniosacral therapists but also creates opportunities for outreach work. Her expertise extends beyond the social work realm, as she's been practicing as a cranio-sacral therapist for a decade. During this time, she's also acted as the role of a course leader at the prestigious College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy in London, Manchester, Poland, and Slovakia, where she's nurtured and mentored the next generation of therapists. With this rich tapestry of experience and knowledge, she is well-prepared to guide and empower cranio-sacral therapists in incorporating trauma-informed approaches into their practice.
