Trauma-Informed CST Retreat
June 20-24, 2025

Embark on a unique retreat in the serene landscapes of Istria, Croatia, designed to empower Craniosacral Therapists and student practitioners with trauma-informed care principles. This five-day immersive experience blends hands-on training, personal resilience-building, and the restorative power of nature, offering a comprehensive approach to supporting vulnerable client groups while nurturing your own well-being.

About the Retreat


Trauma-informed care is a vital skill for therapists working with individuals from diverse and often marginalized backgrounds. This retreat is designed to provide a safe, supportive environment for learning and growth, emphasising practical techniques and personal development.

Trauma-Informed Mastery: Build a comprehensive understanding of trauma, its impact on the body and mind, and effective strategies for integrating trauma-informed principles into your practice.
Hands-On Techniques: Learn creative, adaptive approaches for working with trauma survivors, tailored to community-based settings.
Cultural Competence: Gain insights into providing care that honours the unique needs and cultural backgrounds of your clients.
Practitioner Self-Resourcing: Strengthen your personal fulcrums and safeguard against secondary trauma, ensuring sustainable and effective practice.

CPD Certified Training: 14 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to expand your skills and professional growth.

Schedule Highlights
The retreat combines structured learning with opportunities for self-reflection and group connection. Optional activities include meditation, yoga, and community building, creating a holistic experience that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit.

Travel Information
We encourage attendees to book morning flights from London on May 10th to arrive together and begin the retreat as a cohesive group. Some participants may choose to extend their stay in Istria to explore the region further. While we recommend London flights for coordinated travel, attendees may arrange flights from other locations to suit their needs.

Cost and Registration
Price: From £875 per person
Includes: Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, training, excursions, and CPD certification.

To secure your place, a deposit of £175 is required. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Lizette Villaverde RCST and Carolyn Stevens are experienced Craniosacral Therapists and senior tutors at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London. Together, they bring decades of expertise in trauma-informed care and holistic health..  They are founders of the Craniosacral Collaborative, an initiative to create a platform for therapists to share, enrich and empower one another through collaborative working, including the Cranio in the Community project which aims to assist the wider collective community through acts of service.
